In-house production and development
Ekosen IR panels are not imported and repackaged. They are developed in Slovenia and produced in our own factory in Croatia. This allows us constant quality control, rapid improvements, and environmentally responsible production. Our IR panels are 16% larger than comparable foreign products at the same nominal power, so the radiant heat is softer, and the risk of overheating is minimal.
15-year warranty – the longest in the EU
The 15-year warranty (with the option to extend to 20 years) is a result of our complete confidence in our own production. As the only ones on the market, we dare to stand behind quality that lasts for decades.
CE certificate and independent evaluations
All Ekosen IR panels have a CE certificate. The infrared radiation of the IR-C spectrum is assessed by the Institute for Non-ionizing Radiation (INIS) as natural and harmless.
Silent operation
No fan, no compressor, no pump. The IR panel operates in complete silence. When switched on, it is practically inaudible.
Standard Wi-Fi thermostats often cause unnecessary consumption in IR heating due to excessive temperature fluctuations. The IR Sun controller, however, dispenses heat reactively and instantly, which prevents temperature spikes and ensures up to 25% lower energy consumption compared to conventional thermostats. For its innovativeness, it was awarded the MOS Silver Award.
Choosing an IR panel is simple if you know for which space and purpose you are looking for it. Ekosen offers panels for every scenario - from a standard living space to an industrial workshop or an outdoor restaurant terrace.
For most residential spaces – living room, bedroom, children's room, or hallway – the primary choices are the Sunlife ONE IDEAL and Sunlife ONE models. The IDEAL model represents a premium solution with a 15-year warranty, a larger heating surface, and a Tiger coating for better heat emissivity. Sunlife ONE is its more compact version with a 12-year warranty, ideal for spaces where you want the same German quality heating core in narrower dimensions.
For the bathroom, an appropriate IP rating for moisture protection is essential. Elegant and functional solutions are the Sunlife TAG glass IR panel, which also allows for the installation of towel rails, or Sunlife MIRROR, which functions as a mirror, never fogs up, and simultaneously heats the room. Both models have IP44 certification, ensuring safe use in humid environments.
When aesthetics are a priority – in representative spaces or designer interiors – the best choices are the Sunlife TAG glass panels in various color shades, Sunlife ART with custom print options, or designer models from the Sunlife DESIGN series.
For localized heating of a specific spot, two specific solutions are available: Sunlife DESK, which is installed under a table, and Sunlife ONE K+, which due to its resistance and shape is specialized for heating under reception desks, counters, or church pews.
For outdoor spaces, a key rule applies: never install indoor panels outdoors, as they are designed for a completely different spectrum of operation. For heating covered terraces, the most suitable models are Sunlife SUN F, which can be mounted on the ceiling or wall, and Sunlife TABLE, which is a unique solution for installation directly under a tabletop to heat guests' legs.
When you need immediate heat in open areas or high industrial facilities, Sunlife VARMA is the right choice. This high-temperature heater reaches full power in just two seconds and effectively heats even in windy conditions. For situations where fixed installation is not possible – such as construction sites, events, or temporary venues – the flexible Sunlife VARMA MOBILE solution on a stand is available.

Yes. Ekosen IR panels are designed as a primary heating system – not for supplementary heating. In 25,000+ buildings across Slovenia and the region, they are in most cases the sole source of heat. Correct system design with an energy calculation is essential.
For bathrooms, the most suitable choice are the Sunlife TAG, Sunlife MIRROR models, or the bathroom version of the Sunlife ONE panel. The MIRROR model has an additional advantage, as a heating mirror it never fogs up.
Electrical connection requires a qualified electrician. Physically attaching the IR panel to the ceiling is technically simple, but we recommend professional installation, as the correct position of the IR panel significantly affects system efficiency.

Indoor panels emit heat in the long-wave IR-C spectrum, which is ideal for maintaining a constant temperature indoors. Outdoor panels and heaters (such as Sunlife VARMA and Sunlife SUN F) operate in the short-wave or medium-wave spectrum. This heat is more intense and immediate, which is essential for overcoming outdoor air and wind. Never install indoor panels outdoors, as they will not achieve a heating effect there.
